Discover the One Leadership Advantage that Will Propel Your Career And Make You the ‘Go-To' Leader in Your Business...
The world of the 1990s and beyond will not belong to 'managers' or those who can make the numbers dance. The world will belong to passionate, driven leaders - people who not only have enormous amounts of energy but who can energize those whom they lead
– Jack Welch
Dear Friend,
Top executives share one powerful characteristic – they are mentors, teachers, and coaches to their staff and peers. They know how to uncover and develop talent better than their peers. They command loyalty, respect, and most of all they get results.
Until now, executives and internal coaches had to cobble together their own program and systems for coaching their teams. Not any longer. The Center for Executive Coaching (CEC) has enhanced its already popular program to improve the effectiveness of internal coaches.
At the CEC – your success is my success. After all, I wouldn’t be much of a coach if you didn’t actually succeed in your quest to become a top executive coach.
The CEC program not only gives you comprehensive executive coach training. You’ll also be taken through a step-by-step process to establish your coaching style and techniques.
You can apply the CEC’s executive coaching strategies to be an effective mentor and coach for executives, managers, and line staff in your organization. You can do this whether you are in an executive P&L role or are a leader within your Human Resources and Leadership Development team.
I can’t speak for other executive coaching programs and I won’t make outlandish claims for you but I do know that many CEC program graduates are seeing impressive results and are considered the “top performers” in their organizations.
In the next few minutes, I’ll show you how this is possible for you ...
Why Top Executives Are Refining Their Coaching Skills...
A motivated and well-trained workforce is the price-of-entry for modern high-performance organizations. Elite executives spend the majority of their time coaching top performers. For these executives, coaching allows them to:
- Quickly upgrade skills and increase organization performance. As formal training programs get more expensive, savvy executives are turning to one-on-one coaching as the preferred method to setting effective goals, breaking through performance barriers, and removing roadblocks to growth.
- Help people find their natural inspiration and drive. Professionals know that employees are motivated by more than just money. A well-considered coaching methodology gives the manager the opportunity to tap into people’s core desire and motivation.
- Develop a common language and culture of performance. Superior coaching is an extremely effective tool for instilling a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Retain top talent and reduce the corrosive problem of high-employee turnover.
- Attract A+ talent that seeks organizations with a strong coaching and mentorship culture.
- Be an even more valued and respected resource in your organization. Many internal coaches struggle to earn the respect and credibility they deserve. CEC is committed to showing you how to communicate and demonstrate your value through compelling, measurable results.
You are likely looking for one or a combination of all of these benefits for your business and in your career. Let me tell you how to get the results you are seeking in the shortest time possible.
What makes the CEC program so successful?
You are on to something that the Executive & Business Coaching / Consulting industry has yet to embrace. Your programs are effective, right to the point, without ‘fluff’ and serve as the catalyst or the missing ingredient every coach and consultant is looking for (or at least the serious ones). - Marshall Calman, Executive Coach
- Marshall Calman, Executive Coach
Simply put, no other executive coaching program gives you the “full package” necessary to succeed. By this I mean that you’ll not only learn everything you need to know about being a top “coaching executive” but also everything you need to create a coaching program with your organization. But these are not tools and strategies you’ll find in the business section at the bookstore. I’ve been living and breathing these strategies for the last twenty years in my own highly lucrative executive coaching business. The point being - they work!
In a moment, I’ll tell you exactly how the unique content and structure of the CEC program is certainly your shortest route to offering transformational coaching and guidance to your team.
But first, a little bit about me. For almost twenty years I’ve served as an executive coach to technology firms, health care systems, professional services firms, universities, and foundations. My clients have included Kaiser Permanente, Scripps Health Care System, Catholic Healthcare West, Sun Microsystems, University of Illinois, National Science Foundation, and Oregon State University among others.
I set up the Center for Executive Coaching in response to requests from my clients and colleagues to teach them how to coach and mentor employees, peers, and even their bosses! The response has been so tremendous that I now travel all over the world teaching people to become executive coaches. In fact, a 1,000 office global professional services firm hired me to write a private-label executive coaching curriculum for them, and teach it to their professionals. I do all of this while still spending more than half of my time as an executive coach.

A career strategy for good times and bad...
When the economy is in recession, executives come to me to how to motivate their teams, lead their employees through challenging organizational challenges and help others make transitions to new careers.
When the economy is growing, executives embrace strategies that will speed growth in their companies, from tactics to increase revenues, help “A” executives effectively manage up, and retaining and developing top talent. Even in good times, there is no such thing as “automatic” growth and executives now accept the ever-present specter of economic uncertainty.
Because it is difficult to maneuver in today’s economic landscape, your employees will seek innovative solutions and strategies in order achieve results. They are also keen to develop their leadership capabilities, including influence skills, engaging and mobilizing teams, strategic thinking, communicating powerfully, managing their relationships (a.k.a. “power base”), and building the next generation of leaders.
But they can’t just get up tomorrow and do this on their own. And they know it. And that’s where you come in. That’s why there couldn’t be a better time to be an executive with a refined and effective coaching skill set and tools.
But let me emphasize this again: Today’s executive / manager / director is focused on tangible results. An executive who doesn’t deliver won’t gain the respect of their team or stand out in their organization. That’s why I want you to read the information on this page carefully, and even contact me directly, before you commit to our program.
In this business, your track record is everything
...this is the path of least resistance.
Becoming an effective leader with coaching expertise can be difficult if you decide to learn-as-you-go on the job – which is something you are free to do…or easy if you immerse yourself into a proven successful course of study focused on arming you with the particular tools that produce tangible results.
In fact, a results-driven course of study is the only way you can make these skills to your leadership toolkit. And why is this? If you've had any experience being top performing professional you already know that a successful executive with a reputation for effective leadership got there – not because they had the most letters behind their name, banked on seniority, or were stuffed with sage business advice. The only thing your team really cares about is whether or not you have the proven ability to help them succeed.
All the formal qualifications in the world are pale in comparison to your successful track record.
It’s that simple. At the CEC you will, with our guidance, focus your efforts on attaining the necessary tools, techniques, processes, and strategies that enable you to deliver results

So how does the CEC ensure you walk away with
everything you need to be a top executive coach?
It’s one of the things that makes us different from all other programs. In every way possible, we make the program fit you and not the other way around. Perhaps you are ready to jump in and devote yourself full-time to the CEC program. If that’s the case, then so be it and we are ready to move as fast as you are. Conceivably, you could complete the program in as little as 6 to 8 weeks.
On the other hand, you may only have a few hours a week to spend on the program. Fine. Take the time you need to absorb the materials to your satisfaction. Tune in to the interactive teleconferences whenever it suits you. If you miss one, no problem – we record all teleconferences for you to listen to at your convenience. You can take up to six months to finish the course of study and, if necessary, longer without any paperwork or increase in tuition.
The length of time you take will also depend on your background. Some modules you may decide to skip through quickly, while with others you’ll dig in deeper. It’s your choice based on what is best for you.
I’m sure you see the power of this approach.
It enables anyone to succeed because you immerse yourself in areas you need and skip over areas where you may already be proficient. Other programs will move you forcibly to the next module regardless of readiness…and then waste your time with training you don’t need. Our program is far more flexible and customized.

The CEC program differentiates you from other executive
coaches – even the ones in the CEC program.
Our graduates give us rave reviews on this unique aspect of the CEC program. Coaching concepts, strategies, and tools won’t do anything for you unless you make them “your own.” This is vital. If you know what everyone else knows and you spout the same textbook style solutions, you will not be able to differentiate yourself in the marketplace. At the CEC, we will maximize your success by bringing your particular strengths to the fore. This includes providing you with the tools to create your own frameworks so that you can set yourself apart as a true thought leader and innovative executive coach.
And if that’s not enough to make your course of study perfect for you, you can also customize one of the modules to fit your professional needs. No other executive coaching program comes close to this personal attention, comprehensiveness, and efficiency - no doubt the reason for our past success.
I have spent thousands of dollars on other training classes and your program brought significantly more value to our day-to-day activities than they did. The price is very justified, given the step-by-step and the comprehensive, valuable, applicable advice that is offered. It is a must for any professional looking at starting a firm.
- Nabil Freij
Take charge of your financial future at a time
when it’s never been more crucial to do so.
If ever there was a time to take control of your future, it’s now. And that’s the great thing about your decision to strengthen your coaching skills. The demand for leadership-savvy professionals has steadily increased over the past 15 years…and now that the economy changes so rapidly – the demand is getting frantic.
Our successful CEC graduates give credit to their decision to take this all-important “shortcut” to success...
Your program has been a lot of fun and a great learning experience. You provide great value (10x!) and have helped me shorten the time I thought it would take to get my coaching practice launched. I look forward to the teleconferences and always come away with a key insight that I can apply. So thank you.
- Jeff Haltrecht, Executive Coach, Ontario

I have moved from indecision to decision. You need to emphasize how much FUN it is! Positively energizing.
- Molly Sherrick Phifer
Virtually everyone who made the decision to take the CEC program said they were unaware of how big an impact it would have on their coaching skills and, in particular, the success of their coaching relationships.
Just a few of the strategies and techniques you’ll
learn from this extraordinary program...
Here are some of the approaches that I’ve refined over the last 20 years coaching executives in a variety of industries:
Step up and do what must be done...
Most coaching programs teach that you should ask your clients lots of questions to provoke an ‘ah-ha’ moment where your client arrives ‘naturally’ at a desired conclusion. While this is certainly a valid coaching skill, it is simply not enough - especially in the case of executives.
In the CEC program, you will go a step further. You will acquire unique skills of intervention that enable you to express insightful and necessary observations as well as a variety of ways to move your team members from insight to powerful action and results.
As you can imagine - doing so requires a finely tuned set of skills, adaptable to a variety of situations. You will absorb these skills by employing the dozens of provided frameworks and worksheets included in the CEC program: communicating powerfully and clearly, building their power base, improving relationships with one's direct supervisor, engaging and mobilizing employees, setting a clear strategy and direction, building the organization's leadership capacity, eliminating blind spots that can derail a career... and much more.
Learn To Walk The High Wire Of Executive Coaching...
Your success as an executive coach depends on your ability to balance the elements required for a successful engagement. For example, think about how you must balance your relationship with the client vs. the agreed upon results. If you push too hard for outcomes, you hurt the relationship and come across as coercing. However, if you focus too much on the relationship, you won’t achieve results.
Here I’ve illustrated the necessity to balance just two elements that are necessary for a successful engagement: relationship vs. results. However, the reality is that you are actually balancing no less than seven key elements that ensure your success as an executive coach.
The CEC program shows you - through practice and case studies - how to navigate these tensions and gain trust.
What to Look For When Considering an
Executive Coaching System
When choosing a coaching system, consider the following...
- Have complete access to a full line-up of the most effective coaching methodologies including both behavioral and perceptual coaching.
- Discover easy and quick tips for effectively way to assess people and identify development needs.
- How will you formulate a successful coaching plan that engages your team? The techniques you’ll learn at the CEC have been successful in literally hundreds of different situations - there’s no need for you to run into roadblocks here..
- How many strategies do you have in your toolbox to help people where they get stuck? At the CEC you’ll learn strategies to handle the most challenging, crucial situations that executives struggle to handle.
- How good are you at being open, honest, and authentic in your reactions to other executives? At the CEC we hone your skills to become "the trusted advisor."
- Where do you go when you need support? The CEC is a highly personalized program. I pride myself on being available to be a sounding board and coach you through any challenging situations you face. In fact, members who joined us five years ago still call regularly to review client situations and share their career aspirations.
At the CEC we’ll focus your efforts in order to master the above skills. When you complete your study, you will have developed the capacity to draw upon your knowledge intuitively. This is essential, wholly necessary in order to be a top coach. You are, much of time, engaged in dialog with your employees and your tools must be at the ready in your mind…not in your notebook somewhere.
How to avoid the inherent challenges in executive coaching...
Some executives can be quite challenging to coach, and that’s putting it mildly. Even if they agree that coaching is necessary, they often don’t want an outsider to get involved in their career. In short, they don’t want to be told anything. All of them have this tendency in varying degrees. Some of them don’t mind telling you directly – and others hide it to the point that you may come to believe they are open to any sort of direction or assessment from you.
If you do not possess a range of skills that enable you to work with these ‘difficult types’ your coaching will not work because these are the very executives who need your help the most. However, if you are successful in this regard, you will certainly join the ranks of “top people-focused leaders.”
How to make your executive coaching a highly targeted leadership tool...
A top coach uses assessment tools and processes to quickly get at the root causes of the issues that their clients face. Coaches often drop the ball here because instead of mapping out an efficient assessment process targeted at specific results – they do what they always do with every other client and conduct endless surveys, interviews, and analysis. McKinsey Consulting calls this process "boiling the ocean." It’s probably the best way to frustrate your client early in the process, particularly because the results often don’t reveal anything more than what everyone knew at the beginning.
What are you trying to assess? And what techniques do you have in your toolbox to make this assessment phase effective? Do you know how to create an assessment framework? These are some of the finer points of instruction that you’ll learn at the CEC. Insights that are the result of your assessment process should be nothing short of enlightening and I’ll show you how to do this even in the most challenging engagements.
We have developed a reputation for powerful assessments thanks to: our proprietary 360 degree verbal assessment process; our alliance with a leading- edge, fifth generation assessment tool; our approach to thinking comprehensively about the client's situation; a methodology for shadowing the client and observing him or her in action; and eleven assessment approaches in general.
And of course... the practical “nuts and bolts”...
...And of course you’ll also get all the practical “nuts and bolts” of executive coaching like how to write a winning proposal, how to structure the engagement, and how to perform specific assessments...
And of course... the practical “nuts and bolts”...
...And of course you’ll also get all the practical “nuts and bolts” of executive coaching like how to write a winning proposal, how to structure the engagement, and how to perform specific assessments...
As well as...
- The three most effective ways to get results with the consistently uncoachable. The bonus is that you will make more money and work with clients who are committed to success!
- A methodology grounded in proven research that helps clients become aware of limiting perceptions, reframe them, and make more effective beliefs become habits.
- The best and perhaps only productive way to assist the client who has behavioral blindspots that put his or her career at risk.
- How to get the “comfortable” client to move into unknown territory toward success.
- A three-part process to coach clients about strategic planning. Most coaching professionals completely lack skills in helping clients set strategic direction….and this is a major weakness for them. When you join the CEC, your strategic framework will be a huge asset to your clients.
- A six-step process for your clients to become more influential, and to get their ideas adopted even in the face of resistance.
- Tools to help your clients communicate more powerfully and authentically, whether in front of hundreds of people, on a webinar, or face to face with the boss or a key employee.
- A one-page executive dashboard that grounds your clients in exactly what they need to do, why they need to do it, and the most efficient path for them to advance their careers.
- A 12-part model for your clients to engage and mobilize employees.
- A systematic approach for your clients to build their power base, develop a strong relationship and alignment with their boss, and be ready to advance their career... even in the face of gut-wrenching economic uncertainty.
- An approach for your client to create a high-performance culture, without any inauthentic gimmicks or yet another fad program.
- How to get visible in the marketplace and have people invite you to speak, write, blog, and do research for them…all in ways that establish your reputation as the leader in the field.
Finally, why people join our community...
We are so proud to have the members we have in our community of coaches and professionals. People come to us from a wide range of backgrounds and industries: retired executives, entrepreneurs, psychologists, pastors, attorneys, clinicians, executives in transition, HR executives and managers, consultants, and mid-career professionals. All of them are seasoned, highly-achieving, dynamic people looking to make a difference and enjoy a career that they love.
Regardless of your background, I guarantee that you will find value in the following aspects that really set our program apart:

The Career Transition Coaching Manual
Career Transitions for Executives is a hot topic these days, and so we also include a 153-page Career Transition Coaching Manual, from our sister site The Center for Career Coaching. This manual gives you a practical and powerful four-part methodology to help your employees find the best fit for their next role, find new opportunities that are not posted publicly, and make a successful transition into a new role. It is ideal for coaching executives, whether they are satisfied in their current role while thinking about long-term career development, ready to move their career in a new direction, or transitioning into the crucial first 90 days of a new position. This manual will deepen your executive coaching tool kit and bring even more value to your clients.
Weekly Teleconferences
Participants in the CEC program are invited to take part in a series of weekly, interactive, executive coach training teleconferences to discuss new situations, build coaching skills, and share best practices. I will personally lead these teleconferences.
The agenda includes:
- The executive coaching process.

Just wanted to mention again how much I enjoy your classes. Even when the material is “review” I learn something new each time, just from the examples you give or the questions and comments from the other participants. The classes are a high point of my week – I always leave feeling energized.

Personalized Attention and Support
Please understand that my program is not a stack of ‘derivative’ materials handed down to, and taught by, someone who fancies himself better as a teacher than a real coach. I take great pride in fact that I DO and TEACH at the same time.
However, practicing and teaching (as well as being a husband, father and passionate tennis player) puts serious demands on my time and in consequence enables me to take on a very limited number of students at any given time. If you are serious about committing to the CEC program then please inquire immediately to check space availability and whether there is a good fit. You can call me directly on my personal cell phone at 941-539-9623.
You can join the CEC program for 10 convenient monthly installments of $495, or you can pay up front and save 5%. If you have done some research on other programs, you’ll know that we fall somewhere in the middle to low price range. Also, I understand that you may have an “entrepreneurial budget” right now and that the credit crunch continues; which is why we offer such a convenient payment plan.
However, many programs focus only on one area of executive coaching: behavioral coaching but not transformational coaching; process but not content; communication skills but not strategic clarity; one type of assessment tool but not others. The CEC program on the other hand is comprehensive and for those who wish to enroll in a single course that requires no further training. If you intend on becoming even more valuable and respected to your internal coaching clients this year – then the CEC program is for you.
Research it yourself, no one else offers an executive coaching program this comprehensive, efficient, and customizable. Not at any price!

Step #1:
We will work with you to create a course module that specifically meets your needs.
Step #2:
We will research the module.
Step #3:
We will develop and refine the new material.
Step #4:
We will coordinate and hold a student teleconference to teach the new course module.
